My entry into the "Confront Your Fears in the Library" project. I drew my best guess of what cancer might look like and hung it near the book, "Cancer: The Evolutionary Legacy."

On student was afraid of global warming so hung the drawing up by "Earth in the Balance" by Al Gore.

This drawing by Melodie is to help advertise the collaborative, educational, decorative art project we are conducting in the Galileo Academy Library.

Students draw something that they are afraid of, then hang that drawing by books that are about that topic. This helps students learn how to find books as they decorate the library. Once they find these books, the students can then read about their fears and overcome those fears through with knowledge. See the drawings in the "Fear in the Library" gallery on this site.
